Insane. This card ravage provinces, and wins games. Very underrated. (And don't listen to people that says Unicorns don't have the Imperial Favor, it's a lie)
It's not really that great, remember base strength is printed before modifiers. The highest print value of a province right now is 8, but no one is running that one so at most you're going to knock a 5 down to a 1 for the 4 power swing in terms of breakability.
It has some limited corner utility in letting a lone attacker serve as a threat if unblocked, but with more reliable straight pump in the game like Banzai it'll be hard to squeeze into a lot of decks.
Right, even if you discard the favor and its 5->1, then you've probably gained +3 towards breaking (+4 from point difference and -1 from loss of favor), though that +3 doesn't help win the conflict. In fact you're slightly less likely to win the conflict, as favor has gone.
Contrast this to, say, A Legion of One, which can just give +3 of proper combat strength, or +6 with a kicker cost.
I only speak from my experience. The card is amazing. Yes, you can banzai a guy or A legion of One etc but that guy can still be bowed, sent home, discarded.... but when you only need 1 str to break a province, all the Unicorn "Move to conflict" abilities becomes awesome. And about the Favor bonus loss, rarely happens, you can use it in the other conflict type. But I suppose all is a metter of playstyle, and the card is not for all tastes.
