tl;dr - Coaster of Minas Tirith
Actually, these guys are pretty decent if you are running Mablung. pulling an enemy out of the staging area is as good as questing equal to that enemies threat. And with Mablung, they end up only costing 2. Also, if someone in the party happens to be playing the leadership Boromir - they can hit even harder.
