It's not the cost that makes this card so bad, it's the number of better healing effects we have access to in Lore. Maybe if this was a Leadership card it would be different but as is...almost unplayable unless you are using it for some kind of combo.
And I'm not crazy about the picture either, looks like it should be Beorn's Altar.
