Has some small combo potential with The Eagles Are Coming! (THfG) and others, but still very expensive.
Unplayable!
Agree with xanferatu. Totally inefficient.
it starts getting better with cards like zigil miner and others that take advantage from sorting and knowing the top card of your deck...

A strong effect, but very expensive. Sees play in Zigil Miner decks and worth keeping an eye on for other situational uses.
In Zigil deck is incredible card!!!!
Use with a heavily-armored Gloin (Core), so that you can spend your dozens of resource tokens on something, but otherwise it loses out to cards like Imladris Stargazer (FoS).
I am a little confused her. What is the price of it? Stand and Fight is straight forward, disgard the card for a ally, but I am not sure of this one.

It's as much as you wish to pay.  Only want to search three cards?  Pay three resources.  Search ten, pay ten, etc.

The trick is you still only get 1 card, no matter how many you look at.

Trick or downside?

At the very worst, you pay one to draw one, effectively. That's not amazing with things like Daeron's Runes around, but it's not the worst ever.

Don't forget, you also get to rearrange the top cards that you didn't choose. It could come in handy knowing what cards you'll be drawing over the next few turns.

Personally, I think I´ll much rather take an Imladris Stargazer over Gandalf´s Search anytime for rearrangement powers.

I know she's better, but sometimes you have to make your choices based on the spheres you have. :)

Can't ever see a use for this, even in a deck with many restrictions.  And the picture is not a favorite either. 1/5
