Out of the Dungeons
Type: Quest
Encounter Set: Escape from Dol Guldur
Encounter Info: Dol Guldur Orcs, Escape from Dol Guldur, Spiders of Mirkwood
Quest Points: 7

Forced: At the beginning of each quest phase, each player places the top card of his deck, face down in front of him, as if it just engaged him from the staging area. These cards are called "Orc Guard," and act as enemies with 1 hit point, 1 Attack, and 1 Defense.

Players cannot defeat this stage while Nazgul of Dol Guldur is in play. If this stage is defeated and Nazgul of Dol Guldur is not in play, the players have won the game.

Following a thread of sunlight, you discover a cavern opening leading out through the side of the hill. Stationed outside the cave-mouth, however, is a large group of Orcs.
Set: Core Number: 125
Quantity: 1
Illustrator: Kaya

Lacking the relevant text from the previous Quest cards, does this mean that
1) You can now play as many Allies as you want.
2) You are not required to have objective cards anymore.(although you'll have to be creative to find ways to remove those attachments from your Heroes)

I've been interpreting this as such, but wonder if I did not get out of it a bit easily...
I interpret this the same as you. The absence of text regarding ally playing limits suggests it no longer exists, and the absence of text regarding the Objective cards suggest they are no longer required. This makes sense thematically as the heroes would no longer need items to help them navigate the dungeons any longer since they've escaped.

As for creative ways to remove them, well:

There are cards (King Spiders) that remove them for you. King Spiders require you to remove an attachment you control. Objectives are eligible targets. Normally, being forced to pick one could spell disaster, but it's a welcome Shadow effect on this stage of the quest (this exact situation came up when playing with my girlfriend this weekend).

Otherwise, simply attach a third Restricted attachement to a hero holding an Objective and choose the objective for discarding. It will be places back into the staging area as a result.
