Thicket of Spears

Without a word or cry, suddenly, the Riders halted. A thicket of spears were pointed towards the strangers... - The Two Towers
Set: Core Number: 36
Quantity: 2
Illustrator: David Horne

Why, oh why, does it have to be paid from 3 different heroes?
But can be pretty helpful. Go away Hill Troll!

Could make for an interesting but expensive combo with hammer stroke. Nearly everything attacks u and then they don't. Then u go attack all the enemies u can. Highly situational but would make for good laughs.

I've pulled this off and it's awesome - Mablung makes it easier and he's in sphere ;)

New hero Amarthiúl makes this card playable even in non-mono tactics decks.

This does not state that it needs a "printed" resource match so a Song of Battle should work to.

I will say that I LOVE the theme of making each hero spend their Tactics resource to pay for the card. Fantastic symbolism for them banning together to hold off the assault with their combined combat skill (as well as more literally holding a line of spears). Love it.
