Is the "another player" with respect to the player who currently controls Ceorl, or to the player who triggers the action?
Quite sure that "you" refers to the controlling player, as it is a common term referring to the controlling player.
EDIT: to be clear: controlling player refered to as the player who controls Ceorl BEFORE the ressource is spend by another player
Anyway: I hope your group doesn't dispute on something like that at all
