If this card is the last card in the deck during a battle or siege and is revealed during the quest phase, it will repeatedly be revealed and added back as the encounter deck, forming an infinite combo and killing all characters committed to the quest! Happened to me but I was lucky that my characters had already been removed from the quest by another treachery card.
Don't you have to shuffle the encounter deck once it is emptied during staging? If this is the last card revealed, I will shuffle the encounter deck first

This card is really terrible and there is 4 of them in encounter deck! Really bad card in my opinion 5/5 threat.

Luckily, errata removed the shuffling back into your deck, but this card is still bonkers.  The only thing that keeps it from being complete BS in my opinion is that there are 4 of them in the deck - so you know you're going to see it and you know you have to be prepared for it (well, after the first time, anyway, if you play most quests blind like I do).  Even that doesn't take the sting out of hitting 2 in a row, though.  Not questing with characters that have 1 HP left (or knowing you're risking them if you do) is one thing, but you can't avoid questing with every character that has 2 or fewer HP left - you'll lose either way.

One of those quests where the Sailor of Lune / noldor discard deck is shining
