Not too bad for 11 threat, but not great either.

I beg to differ. Just load your deck with Gondor allies and it´s especially usefull while attempting those pesky battle-quests.

The problem is, right now, there just aren't enough good Gondor allies. It seems very likely this card will get stronger and stronger as the adventure packs are released and loading your deck with Gondor allies becomes viable.

Citadel custodian, *Damrod, Defender of Rammas, Envoy of Pelargir, Errand-Rider, *Faramir, Gondorian Spearman, Guard of the Citadel, Hunter of Lamedon, Ithilien Tracker, Master of Lore and Warden of Healing so far. All these get +1 attack value, which is good against battle-quests (also if you need a bit of extra dmg on an attack, I guess). Seems to me there´s enough to make it viable.

this is dain's weaker cousin as far as im concerned. too few gondor allies across too many spheres and no will booster either. the tactics version is vastly better as it can do it all in a single turn if u raise ur threat enough whereas this one just stinks. id rather play imrahil in any deck I even looked at this guy and I don't play imrahil much. shoot for one more threat u have Aragorn and he has a LOT more support cards and better effect plus sentinel.
