The Power of Mordor

The Power of Mordor
Type: Treachery
Encounter Set: Mordor Elite

Doomed 3.
When Revealed: Count the number of encounter cards in the staging area and shuffle them into the encounter deck. Then, reveal an equal number of cards from the encounter deck and add them to the staging area. This effect cannot be canceled.

Set: HON Number: 61
Quantity: 1
Illustrator: Ryan Barger

So cool art and really terrible effect, it can ruin your plans completly.

Edit: Actually this card isn't that bad that i first tought, actually this has helped me more than complicating my game. One time Mumak was just going to engage me then this card came out and shuffled the Mumak back to the encounter deck :D

If you count cards in staging area, are you including The power of Mordor too?

Treachery cards aren't normally added to the staging area, just revealed and resolved. So I would say, no you don't count The Power of Mordor.

When you are to reveal and add cards to the staging area do you also resolve Treachery cards revealed or do you discard them with no effect?

You resolve all cards. The "...and add to staging area" implies that you aren't just looking at the top cards, but you are putting them in to play.
