Response: After the quest phase begins, the first player may place X dmage tokens on Wilyador to look at the top 3 cards of the encounter deck. Reveal and add 1 of these cards to the staging area, and discard the other 2. X is the number of players in the game.
Forced: After a card effect heals Wilyador, remove that card from the game.

The Eagle's health has grown worse, but you have at last arrived at Rhosgobel, where Radagast examines the bird. He then asks you to head out into the wilderness to find the healing plant, Athelas. Meantime, any healing lore or supplies your party has it its disposal could be used to assist in comforting the Eagle until you return.

I have a question with this card. Say you use a character action to heal Wilyador, for example using Radagast or Glorfindel, would you have to remove those cards from the game?

yep.  And if you use Elrond to increase the heal, I'm pretty sure that means Elrond leaves as well.

The Elrond part is irritating. I always tend to think of him as just buffing other healers, but his card text clearly has him doing the extra 1 point of heal himself.

Fortunately, it's in a response, so you can decline to use it.
