Just played a 2-handed game with a Rohan deck as one of the decks along with an Eagle deck and this card saved my butt. I was at stage 2B of Anduin, only 1 quest point against the 16 needed and I went all in with my Rohan deck. Just had 3 resources saved to play Astonishing Speed to net me 22 willpower. Staging had 6 threat so I walked out with 16 willpower and went right past stage 2B. Was so awesome and much needed since my Eagles deck was at 47 threat by then with no way to reduce. Wound up winning the game easily the next turn
I think this was the first of the 3-cost, trait-specific events (this, Lure of Moria, Lords of the Eldar).
Personally I still like the pure utility of Lure of Moria over this but this definitely has its place in a Rohan deck. They are made for big questing pushes anyway and this can win you games in the right circumstances. And even though he's not Rohan, Faramir makes such a good pairing with this card.
