Type: Quest Encounter Set: The Hills of Emyn Muil Encounter Info: Dol Guldur Orcs, Sauron's Reach, The Hills of Emyn Muil Quest Points: 1 Setup: Search the encounter deck for Amon Hen and Amon Lhaw, and add them to the staging area. The shuffle the encounter deck. Forced: If there are no location cards in the staging area, the first treachery card revealed during the quest phase gains surge. Players cannot defeat this stage unless there are no Emyn Muil locations in play, and they have collected at least 20 victory points. The hunt for Gollum has led you to the south, and you are now approaching Rauros Falls and the nearby hills of Emyn Muil... Always using Eleanor in this quest, she´s just too good at this quest
Easy...and really easy with a dedicated deck...but i still enjoy playing it

I actually really like all of the Shadow's of Mirkwood Cycle. I feel like they really did a great job of teaching player to play the game quest-by-quest as each one focused on a different core challenge.
It's really kind of boring. You spend the whole game hoping that an Emyn Muil location isn't drawn. This becomes harder the more players, but still not more fun.
Lol. Yeah, I get what you're saying. But like I said, I just really like the way the Mirkwood cycle slowly rolls out the finer points of the game to you piece by piece.
Hunt for Golum is arguably the better "location" quest in the cycle, but that is a more rounded quest generally (though it still has it's fiddly bits). Emyn Muil, though, really makes players think about solutions to problems like location flood and travel restrictions.
I guess I like what it does for the game more than I like it as a quest itself...
I don't know why, but I like this quest. It's easy, yeah, but instead of boring I find it relaxing.
