Combines well with the Lindon Navigator. Resolve the quest, choose to discard the Navigator, and now the Mithlond Sea-Watcher has Ranged and 3 Attack. "Discard an attachment" shadow cards can spoil this plan, though.

Another possible combination with Lindon Navigator: Lindon Navigator quests and is discarded, then at the start of the Combat round before enemies' attacks are resolved, Mithlond Sea-Watcher fires off a Skyward Volley.

In a normal game, the top of your discard is rarely a character, so this would usually be poor instead of awesome. But I suspect that's not true of all decks.

Synergies with Arwen hero if you play Blue/Red.

Synergies with King under the Mountain if Purple/Red.

Goes well with Longbeard Sentry in a character heavy Red deck.

Definitely goes well with any chump blocker.

Probably many more synergies out there.

I think this makes it kind of a cool card, even if I am not sure it's entirely practical for most people.

Let's not forget the super-strong combo with Daeron's Runes - so you can trigger it almost on demand, netting Legolas (Ally) level of attack usefulness. Also she is 2 cost/1 willpower in Tactics which is not bad along the other stats. However consider her only if you intend to benefit from the ranged, otherwise there are allies that will do more for you for the same cost.
