Great stats and a perfectly thematic built-in drawback for just 2 resources. I suspect this one is going to be a staple in lots of decks where Lore is present.
It´s a good all-around ally that does indeed has it´s uses.
But the very fact that it is all-around (as opposed to specialised; very good at a particular thing) is an argument against it being a staple.
It seems a good ally IMO. I'd like to see Treebeard in play (maybe in one of the two last Adventure Packs of this cycle?). Sure Treebeard will work very well with Ent allies as this one.
Treebeard should be in the next pack, Antlered Crown and he does have a way to stand these guys. http://www.fantasyfl...s.asp?eidn=4852
Wow, Treebeard looks amazing to play with other ents. I wonder if they plan to add another version of Treebeard in the upcoming The Treason of Saruman saga exp. If not, I'm pretty sure Antlered Crown would become a must buy for Tolkien Fans (the majority of us around here) for Treebeard alone.
I suspect we will see him as an objective in Treason of Saruman, much like Grima was in the last box. I suspect Antlered Crown is released too soon to Treason of Saruman to have an additional version of him. We might see a hero one day, though.
