This is crazy... this and 'Modded' plus a money card in your starting hand or (two) and you have an unbeatable breaker from the start.
Yeah, I'm looking at you, Andromeda. Even the faction cost works

At least you can't install it into a dino.
You seem to be missing the part where Atman only works on ICE that have EXACTLY the same strenght, not same or less :)

That's what makes the card interesting instead of just retardedly strong.

this is the Shaper equivalent of Femme Fatale. Icebreaker that locks onto any single piece of ice and lets you move through it very inexpensively. has the kicker that it will bypass multiple copies of the same card.

excellent breaker. i look forward to playing it.

Really interesting.

Could use something like Data Suckers. Put Atman at 3 str, and then use the Data Suckers for any ice higher than 3. Seems pretty safe to me.

Ah... I see... still crazy good... still the most cost efficient AI breaker so far... just add Datasuckers and Wyrm and run your favourite Server
.
2 of em I think, 1 at 0 and the other at 3 (maybe 4), with Datasuckers/Wyrm. Aaaand go!

Or, Darwin with 3 Personal Touches, 1 at Strength 5 with some Datasucker support. Even after a virus wipe any ICE Str 5 or less can be run though.

Against the HB deck I tried out, three Atman with 3 Datasuckers proved to be very difficult to handle. Have the Atman at 0, 3 and 5 and that was enough. Of course, I had Chimera so that didn't help. Just a warning I was testing the deck, not like it's a good deck or anything ;)

I dislike that they included "break-all ice" programs at all. It would be so much more in theme with the game to require breaker programs for each type of ice. This and Crypsis to me destroys the game (especially in combination with DataSuckers).

That's kind of arbitrary though, don't you think? Plus if there weren't AI breakers then Trap breakers would have virtually no weakness, Chimera would be awesome, etc.
I they dominate too much some anti-AI corp card is in order.
But Atmans are pretty new so i'd wait a bit before complaining, maybe corps will get some good cards against them in 2nd cycle or find new ways to defend with existing cards.

Atmans require specific setup, and Crypsis is really inefficient, Darwin can also be quite scary with cyberfeeeder... but i'm not convinced corps cant deal with them.

I think maybe uber hi-str ICE with medium econ draining effects is in order. So much ICE can be broken for so little cash once runner sets his rig up.
