All of the subroutines are really nasty. I like using this with NBN where I can boost the Trace in order to give a tag and brain damage.
Not an AP for some strange reason. Too bad for Deus X.
The dude has already four subtypes, cut him a break!
Who chooses the program to trash? The runner othe corp?
The corp. If the runner would trash it, the text would read "The runner trashes 1 program.", like in Burke Bugs.

The brain damage is contained in the trace, so he's just a tracer instead of an AP ICE.
Actually, I just checked the other tracing ICE, and Flare does have the AP subtype. So I was wrong.
Interestingly, Burke Bugs is only a destroyer, and not a tracer. So each ICE (flare, ichi, and burke bugs) is different in how they choose their subroutines. Ichi is a tracer, burke bugs is a destroyer, and flare is both. Odd.
I think Ichi is not AP by design, it's just broken bioroid and sometimes hurts careless runners. :)
(how many times have you seen this trace actualy do harm to runner)
