This card is so nasty. It's a primary reason I focus on Central Servers as a runner. It just scares the bejesus outta me.

Im yet to have this actually work.... Such a shame because on paper it is amazing. People are just so reluctant to come anywhere near an advanced card in a remote server, and most people will attempt to expose it before they come close.
It's biggest use is the threat of its use. People being reluctant to come near an advanced remote against Jinteki has allowed me to score unprotected agendas on multiple occasions.

Clearbeard has it right. The value of this card isn't in springing the trap, it's in the threat. No Runner in her right mind will run an unscouted server with a thrice-advanced card in the root because of this card, at least against Jinteki. Even a twice-advanced card will be reason for pause.

If you really want to spring this one, though, put it in a deck where it doesn't belong - like an NBN fast advance deck, or a Weyland economy deck. It works particularly well with Project Beale - once the Runner sees a Junebug, she'll have to wonder every time the advances start stacking up if it's a big Project Beale score waiting to happen, or a Project Junebug waiting to flatline her.

Also, it works really well with Ronin - again, once the advances start stacking up, the Runner has to figure out if it's a Ronin waiting to kill her or a Junebug waiting to trap her.

A Ronin or three in the deck makes this card much better. Bullfrog develops some nice synergy too, and can win the game if played correctly.
