If you are rich as a Corp. you play a lot of cards... if you are not, you just save up again.
Also credit denial decks will really stomp over you.
for a Corp though, having the extra cards isn't nearly as useful.
But against Criminal, you'd be so poor your hand size would be smaller than normal.
I was playing Shaper so had no real direct approach to hitting cash, he just built up a massive stack of cash and a huge hand (about 16 cards) then played an immense combo with biotic labour efficiency committee, shipment from mirromorph an kaguya and trick of the light to score 7 points in one turn!
Bad: discarding 8+ cards when things go haywire & you have to spend extra credits on expensive rez costs!
Ugly: using discarded Bioroid AI [Janus / Heindall 2.0] in conjunction with Holwer traps to fry runner brains for 1 credit.
I don't know about how strong it is in competitive play, but I had some success with this deck. Its main weakness is probably Gabriel Santiago (or other credit thief, sneakdoor beta, account syphons) I needed extra HQ ICE to protect my HQ/hand, as I found myself holding more Agendas than usual. When my credits got low and I had to discard, i discarded Bioroid ICE (planning on using the Howlers to reinstall from archive).
If it's against a deck you feel runs account siphon, defend early. Literally sit there for 4 or 5 turns doing NOTHING but gaining money and drawing cards. If they run your hand, whatever, you have 10+ cards in your hand. If they run R&D; Make them pay to do so. You know what's in your hand. You know what's in your deck. If they score 3-5 points early, whatever. It's a glacier deck. If you're doing anything but drawing cards and gaining money you're doing it wrong. All you do is draw and defend until you draw a sea source and two scorches. Literally. That's how you play it.
