There is a whole theory going on that she actually is Director Haas' pet project.

If the ICE gains code gate property that doesn't mean it loses its original property, does it? So for example let's say Corp has just a barrier Ice and I happen to have a barrier icebreaker, and I run against that ice. I can still beat barrier, it just happens to have code gate as well. Is that right? Thanks in advance!

ICE has both properties.
FYI I would like it if her ability was voluntarily triggered once every turn instead of forced on first ICE encountered
Fantastic ability. She can put on some INSANE early game aggression with Yog.0. Add on some datasuckers and some parasite recursion and you've got a monster of a deck. I won my regional tournament with a deck like this and just crushed every corp I went up against.

How do you guys feel she compares, to me, she's meh as I predicted and Chaos Theory is considerably better.

Yes, I do still like Chaos Theory more than Kate.
I've been maining Kit as my Runner since that post I made on Sept. 28, and never looked back.
I just realized that she wears a jacket and shoulder length hair to hide what are probably the most visibly-bioroid parts of her body and that made me kind of sad.

will her ability work duiring secon run in same turn?

will her ability work duiring secon run in same turn?

Only if she didn't encounter any ICE on the first run.

Kit is my favorite card in ANR and very problematic for those among my friends who play against me the most because I've been running the same runner deck for ages, sometimes changing out a few cards or bringing it back to an older version of the deck.

It must be boring for them. Not only do they have to keep facing the same old cards over and over again... the same decoders, the same Maker's Eye... they also have to keep losing.

It's to the point where I'm almost jealous vs other Kit players locally. I've been running nothing but her since C&C was released -- that's literally over four hundred games [about half of those as various corporations, though] without using any other runner identity -- and I don't want others in my city having her as their ID. OTOH, I do believe that she's the best Shaper ID and maybe the best ID overall. So it's strange that I can at the same time be like "No, I don't want others to play her", I also feel guilty because I want the "best" ID for myself.

Luckily, others doesn't seem to have realized how good she is.

One of my friends has been the guy I play the most against (I've become a bit of a social recluse, but he comes over and we play NR) brought net-decked, slightly tweaked Argus and MaxX decks today. I won six out of nine games vs that Argus deck, I went tagme and got flatlined three times, won on agendas six times.

His MaxX deck ran into snares against my Biotech deck twice, and I didn't even flip the ID, might as well be a blank red 45/15. The first game he got the combo going, found six agenda points on his big dig and then hit the last snare in the deck. The second game he died on the first turn by hitting a snare and getting scorched.

He asked me to build some other runner decks, he prefers playing corp and I prefer playing runner - but I prefer playing KIT!!!
