I like that this is a beefy neutral piece of ice with no influence cost. I'm less excited that it is a tracer. But still, decent.
But as tracers go, this one might be the best target for Chum ever.
Even aside from that, it's probably cheaper just to break the subs, unless you have a ton of link . . . on a strength-5 Sentry, that is saying something.
But I'm more Jinteki and you're more Weyland
so I don't think this is right for every deck, and 7 to rez is a commitment.
Oh, I like me some Jinteki too. As the hipster says, I was into RP long before it was cool. I'm not into tricky trappy or goofy positional ice Jinteki, I prefer resource compression and flatlining Jinteki. But yeah, philosophically Weyland speaks to my inner world dominator.
I'm basically a thug in a three piece suit, but I've got a Zen garden out back.
At 7 to rez it is definitely an investment, but I'm sure this will see some play. I also like how even though it is neutral, it is clearly attractive to some NBN decks which can lack options for high end ice, which is fitting considering its inclusion in NBN's big box. All around, well done.
Yeah, RP . . . like I said, you're more Weyland
