I love the ability on this identity!
One of the most frustrating things when rubbing against a server is not being able to afford to trash things. Or that trashing an unrezzed asset/upgrade still gives the corp a credit advantage over me.
But now, having the credits to trash things without dipping into genuine credit pool is fantasic, and I think will lead to a change in the game dynamic.
I think pairing Whizzard with Desperado could be quite profitable.
Very interesting ability indeed... too bad I don't like the image or the character at all! :(

But how can you not enjoy the great ZORK reference? :)
The image is Kevin Wilson who designed the Android game.

Both Anarchs look interesting enough, though I think that with more and more viruses being released Noise will be my fav in the long run.
Whizzard is pretty nice, but he really needs more non-virus based Anarch cards to shine, so hopefully in a few releases he'll be better when compared to Noise.

You'd think Whizzard would be really money efficient. But I find he's really not. Maybe I need to build his deck differently....

Anyone try some Whizzard recently?

I've built a Whizzarddeck, which relies on gravedigger. Main objective is obviously trashing remotes via Whizzard's ability and sometimes even ICE with spooned etc. Fun times.

Personally, i prefer Whizzard over Noise; He might not be as efficient as Noise in regards of corpmilling (heck, noone tops Noise), but it is just way more fun to play with Wiz.

Noise wins his games by literally doing nothing (except flooding the area with 1c-viruses).

Wiz is better with the newer Anarch cards plus the heavy use of assets and upgrades lately. But Valencia tends to do the same things Wiz can do better if you leverage the bad pub well, and Edward Kim + Imp + Scrubber is pretty destructive too. And of course the "headlock" reina style of econ denial works whether the corp's econ is asset or event based (though it works better if it event based), while Wiz has much less impact vs corps with an event based econ.

So, basically, Wiz is better these days than he was, and you see him pop up here and there as a sort of meta dependent dark horse, but the quality of Anarch id's is very good these days and he has stiff competition within his own faction. The tourny showings illustrate that Anarchs are the most diversely represented faction.
