I'd probably rather just use Kati.
Pretty solid in faction alternative to Magnus, can be protected with fall guy. Also a connection.

You need to use this 12 times for it to have better efficiency than Armitage Codebusting. At once per turn that's a pretty tough sell with that drawback.

Might be a decent alongside rather than instead of Kati in sort of self-throttling decks like Kit.

why 9? You can only use armitage 6 times so surely it is 8.

I was talking about mathematical click:net credit efficiency, not overall net credits. Naturally Tri-Maf gets you more net credits after only 7 uses (+12) since AC pegs out at 6 (+11).

Not sure what I was on when I came up with 9 but it's actually 12, twice that of AC since it costs twice as much to install. AC reaches a click:credit efficiency of 1.83 ((12 - 1) / 6), externals like Aesop's notwithstanding, and Tri-Maf takes 12 uses to get there ((24 - 2) / 12). 12 is a lot of turns. Hell, even 7.

you forgot drawing and installing as clicks. With my calculations it is 8.8 turns. Armitage costs 8 clicks for 11 credits so 1.375 credits/click while you need 2 credits plus 2 clicks to install this (I took here the asumption 1 click = 1 credit so actually it is even a little bit better.) So after 6.4 turns you spend 12.8 clicks and got 17.6 credits with both. ((12.8 - 4) * 2 = 17.6 = 12.8 * 1.375)

Of course you cannot wait 8.8 turns and spend 12.8 clicks, so 9 is correct. It might be a little bit better if you get the first two a bit more efficient and a bit worse if you have pawnshop. However, I think many games go more than 9 turns and it gives you some stability, so in my opinion it is an option.

Using this with I've Had Worse can be pretty interesting :D

Do you take 3 meat damage if it is trashed from your grip (by damage) ?

Nope, because the text on the card isn't active when not installed.

I think you do. Just like I've Had Worse triggers when it is trashed.

The difference is that I've Had Worse needs to be trashed specifically as a result of net or meat damage and not brain damage or other trash effects like Snoop.

UPD: disregard :) Tri-Maf shouldn't trigger the damage unless installed.
