Maybe I'm too pessimistic, but this looks like total garbage to me. It merely delays an already lost match by one last turn.
The main problem here is that there is little reason to play more than one at a time - they will all fall down together. Such a waste.
Holy crap, why is this card rated 1 star!? The host counter doesn't say 'the worth of this agenda is reduced by 1 agenda point,' it says 'This agenda is worth -1 agenda point!' That's at minimum a 2 point loss for the corp and up to 4 points they are down unless they spend a turn purging counters!
Damon already ruled on this. It should read "this Agenda is worth 1 less Agenda point". In any case that won't change that it merely delays the loss by one turn (at best).
Ah, ok.
It just baffles me that when they were designing this card they said "Ok, this effect is the same as 'The Board,' so we'll word it the same as 'Domestic Sleepers,' that way no one will be confused about how it works."
It should be possible to get multiple Grafittis in play, since the corp will endure them until that point where (s)he purges and wins the game.
So how about this:
Near your Endgame, spray the Sh*t out of an agenda and steal it with Turntable. Ideally you are now in a state, where Purging means you'll reach 7 Points and win.
Then let your Viruses work for you. They should totally go nuts, since the Corp won't be able to purge them
I know, this isn't really an option, but that's the Shaper in me who is talking. It's just the most awkward way i could come up with to play this game.
Uhm, why would you do that? If you know you can access an agenda so you can switch with the sprayed one, that means you will be taking that difference of points you reduced by playing those graffitti. Also if you a 2-pointer to 0, there is a good chance the Corps' deck is full of 2s - you are gaining nothing, if it is a 3-pointer, just take it and win the game, for havens' sake.
This card is boredline useless - it will at best give you a turn at the end of the game, but don't forget you already spent half of that turn drawing and installing this card. Also the Corporation purges quite often lately, due to Clot and such.
Note that it would have been a great design if this was instead a Corporation card (the effect) targetting an agenda in the Runner's score area. But then again, it would have hit Criminals and Shapers more... Flaws...
Wouldn't a single Graffiti be sufficient, in that case? Just as some sort of blackmail (not the card): "Sure, purge my viruses. Are you willing to grant me 1 Agenda point by doing so?"
When I think about it, more than one at once would indeed be a waste. But a single one? Most of the time, that 1 point isn't game deciding. But it could be a psychological thing. A little bit like Social Engineering. Which won't prevent the Corp from rezzing the ICE, but it affects their decision-making.
