Not if you have 5 cards in hand - you can trigger it between Scorches and live to tell the tale.

This is the way Meat protection should have been in the first place. Let's not forget IHW is part of a deluxe expansion, so it is not going away, ever. Those cards will be more than enough to save your precious parts against many troubles. The Hopper also gives link to fight any Sea Source traces and it is not unique.

Not to mention that it is altogether useful effect unlike the conditional "Scorch insurance" that was sent directly to the Heap in most of the match-ups.

I really like this. All around very good card. Never completely useless, multi-functional, good design, neutral, 0 influence, fairly reasonable cost to play, no janky weirdness. Just good clean card design.
