Yeah. Ok, so I like the advancing makes it cheaper mechanic on this suite of "space ice". However, a 1 routine high strength barrier in a post-David (and also, more situationally, Quetzal) card pool just seems not as exciting as it once would have.
So, not seeing this being very playable under most circumstances.
Advanced using clickless advancement methods, it can be cheap for its strength and utility. It also serves as a bank of advancement tokens you can move elsewhere with Constellation Protocol and Trick of Light. Unlike other advanceable ice, you lose nothing by removing those tokens after the ice is rezzed (excepting edge cases where the runner derezzes it). I'm not sure if that's hugely useful, but having a pool of advancement tokens in play that you can move around with card effects creates another resource to deploy and generates some fun interactivity between cards that would otherwise just sit on the table.
Be nice if the base card was cheaper, though. :/
