Very very niche. If I'm building an advanceable ice deck and trying to avoid Bad Pub altogether and thus don't take Hostile Takeover, sure. Otherwise...no.
EDIT: I'm running this in a no bad pub Titan advanceable ice deck with Trick of the Light, and I am confident in saying that Firmware Updates + Titan beats Because We Built It. So, a very niche deck and not as strong overall as Blue Sun, but nevertheless this card is the bomb card in it that makes the whole thing work.
Pretty strong in decks featuring Morph ice. Using an agenda counter on Firmware Updates to change one of those mid-run(!) into something the runner can't break (or wanted to destroy, utilizing the new Forked/Knifed/Spooned Cards) sure is powerful. Also a candidate for Titan Transnational decks.
