For piece of hardware, I see only Plastcrede Carapace beneficiating of this effect.
For programs, they are some of them :
- restore virus counters (Hivemind and Imp),
- change parameter or host (Parasite, Atman and Sage)
- restore power counters (Cache, Cuj.0, Lady, Rex, D4v1d and Overmind)
Femme Fatale? especially after they trash the ICE you target with it.
Ugh, I guess if you want to spend another 9 on getting Femme out there. If you're already "cheating" Femme out for less, you're probably running Scavenge, so you could do the same thing for free, without wasting the time to pull it into your hand.
Shaper has many ways to retool Atman. Anarch has ways to recharge Imp or D4v1d. . . maybe as extra recursion in a heavy recursion Shaper or Anarch deck . . . maybe, because there are several faster and cheaper options available.
There are uses for this card. But tempo, card advantage, and the availability of better cards (such as Scavenge), make this kind of an ugly duckling.
Is it possible to uninstall a facedown card with Apex by proving that the card is a program or piece of hardware? Like with Restoring Face?
No. If you check the FAQ, runner cards that are installed facedown lose their type and subtype. (Which is not the case for corp cards.)
