This has a little bit of utility as a drop-and-run safety net. However it is obviously better in the early game when face checking, so you'd want 3-of to increase odds of opening hand / early game draw unless a reliable draw fixer is being used or a smaller max deck size, and I don't know if it is worth 3 slots. If it were (net or brain) damage it would be much more solid even if priced at $2.
Anyway, I think it could be playable in an early game aggressive deck, maybe Smoke in faction could get some utility out of it.
