You'll probably choose ac over vamp and I don't think exploratory romp or indexing are good choices but other than that I agree.
Also, Indexing can be a decent choice sometimes. I wouldn't use it on Infiltration though, but that might be because I don't run any Infiltration at all.
Don't forget click ratios.
The in the examples of Diesel and Modded
1 click to draw, one click to play - draw 3 cards
vs
1 click to draw, 1 click to draw, 1 click to draw
Diesel nets you 1 card, just as Modded nest you 1 credit (though you also get the install as well)
stacking those costs on top of same again with 'Same Old Thing' makes it not worth it in such cases.
Even in the case of Quality Time; where you need to get, if you don't already have, 3 credits... they were or will be clicked for in either case.
Draw and play with a normal card becomes
draw and install plus 2 clicks with Same Old Thing
