More often than not, MGM will be a double-edged sword. Since the corp decides which card to rez and which to derez. Derez Ice Wall, rez Hadrians Wall. Yuck!
If you don't trash them it could be decent denial. But yeah, it gives the corp too much decision making power. I would generally avoid.
This card has a huge power spike in the early game but drops fast. This is a good card if you do not run often, like with my Ian Stirling deck. This would allow you to be more picky or have a little more contol on which cards they derez.
The Corp derezzes Jackson Howard, then immediately rezzes Jackson Howard. Cost = 0.
The Corp trashes the gang dude with a tag, a Contract Killer, or a Snatch and Grab (or Corporate Town, or Character Assassination), and then rezzes some big ICE.
Seems like the Muertos Gang is working for the Corp.
Interesting interaction:
If this guy was on a Street Peddler, you could use him to derez an ice that was just rezzed, so long as the corp chooses it as the target.
I just made a pipe dream deck based around installing these, blanking them with Lovegood, then feeding them to Aesop. Recur with Deja Vu or Trope (not sure which), then repeat.
At least it sounded cool at 10PM last night...
Indeed. That's a lot of pieces to replicate the effect of Emergency Shutdown or not quite be as good as Political Operative, both of which are in-faction
