...well, one could argue CI has been dead for a while. But in the case of this specific card, I'm pretty sure it actually helps rather than hurts CI, granting a safety margin in case their credit pool gets drained. It's a better in-faction Research Center. which works _after_ CI's face ability, per my understanding.
It also helps The Foundry, as the ID ability floods your hand and you want to keep some Grail ICE.
