I am not a fan of the art - never liked the original painting it is a tribute to. As an agenda - we have a pure winner here. 1/3, neutral, allows you to find a card on demand and the Runner does not se it. It is a dream come true, if you ask me. Just give me a minute to replace the artwork on a proxy and we are ready to go.

It's basically Aggressive Negotiation built into an agenda, which is excellent. AN's effect was a good one, but the jank factor combined with the fact you needed to advance agendas in an irregular fashion made it a less than good card. Add in the fact that it was in the faction that gets Project Atlas and there was basically no reason to play it at all. Now everybody gets a playable AN at the princely influence cost of nothing.

Um...yeah...no. If I'm dipping into neutral one point agendas, I either want Chronos Project to hose recursion or I need psuedo econ. I don't need a tutor effect that takes two turns four clicks and $3 to play and risks giving up a point to trigger. What card do I need that badly I'm willing to pay that much? There are better tutors available, and also draw fixers, and also just the virtue of being patient. The Weyland kill combo is already supported by Atlas if necessary, and 1 point agenda slots are pretty fixed in such decks.

I'm prepared to be wrong, as always, but I don't see this being all that playable.

It is just my obnoxious draw luck. Also it is a combo player's dream, and Netrunner is so filled with interesting card effects and mechanics that are just worth trying, even for once. But again, I don't mind to lose a couple of times before I give up that ten-card-combo. Got my fair share of tournaments and wins at chess quite a while ago, need something fresh.

I notice that in the end it is all about personal playstyle, accepting that some playstyles are less productive and competitive (like mine). Me personally really need those economy cards after the first agenda scored, so a Beanstalk Royalties is nice. Also, Snare! or that Cyberdex would have been useful in some games. Also when one Astro is lost, it will be quite nice to pull a second from the bottom of the deck, where they are patiently expecting me

Still like to see your analysis - it is good to confirm that a card is too much of a variance or tend to be less useful in the long run.

@KillerShrike As far as I'm aware, outside of an Atlas, an Aggressive Negotiation or this card there is no way to tutor for operations. Likewise, most types of upgrades cannot be tutored. That means that this card - and only this card - offers NBN fast advance access to their Biotic Labors and SanSan City Grids, and NBN butcher shop access to their kill cards. Those are decks that do not have the luxury of being patient - if they aren't putting pressure on the runner every turn then the game rapidly slips away from them.

You say that it takes two turns, four clicks and three credits to play and risks giving up a point. This is true, but I think it's a one-sided analysis because, conversely, if it does trigger then you have spent that time and dosh for a point and a tutor - a much more positive way of framing its effect.

Ah, but see...NBN has managed to win quite a lot with its Biotics and SanSans and Butchershop variants without needing a card like this, which would seem to suggest that they can be patient or use other means (card draw, draw fixers like Daily Business Show) to get what they need.

And I'm not a spin doctor, I'm not trying to frame an effect in rosy terms or cast things in the most positive light. The cost and the risk of the card is what it is, and it is high. Whether a given player finds the cost and risk acceptable or not is a different matter. I personally find it unacceptable; YMMV.
