Seems like this will be a good deck-thinner for certain kinds of Anarch builds.

Rig-heavy 15x3 decks will love it.

Lots of uniques or multiples of effectively unique cards (E3 Feedback Implants), will like it.

Event decks? Resource spam? Not so much.

From a design perspective, a great card. Deck thinning makes card draw more efficient, and Anarch has a fair number of uniques. It also is friendly with recursion, obviously.

From a fitting this in my deck perspective, I just don't have room for it in any of my current Anarch decks. Card slots are precious, and nowhere is that more true than Anarch. Each card included has survived multple cuts and the floor is littered with powerful cards that had to be dropped for space, so adding a deck fixer like this is a hard sell. But now that it exists, it might find a home in a future deck.

As a side note, I like that it is 0 to install. That's about right, and I hope more edge-case resources to be released start having more realistic install costs in line with their actual utility.

Agreed that fitting this into your present decks will not be easy. I really think this is a "build-around" card. There are lots of ways to make it less efficient by shoehorning.

Since several people convinced me that Edward Kim is worth it a while back, I've been itching to try him out, and really thinking in terms of a 15x3 setup (now with this in it). That's very different from what I usually like to run (tutoring with lots of 1x cards is more my cup of tea, and while I love Anarch, I run a lot of Anarch cards out of Shaper . . . if I don't, Shaper turns into navel gazing for me).

For me, one of the biggest challenges of Anarch is getting the cards out of the deck and onto the board. I love MaXx, and while I'm a fan of alternative "cook-for-a-time-while-the-cards-come-out" schemes like we often see with Noise, I'm much more of a "slam the cards on the table as fast as you can and go" kind of Runner; if I don't take this approach, I move too slowly.

I flirt with Criminal, but it's never quite satisfying for me (we all want different things). Anyways, Ed Kim seems built to need some help to go fast enough: that guy needs to run HQ . . . yesterday really . . . and this is a strong contender for getting him up and going in a hurry: he has to be disruptive, right now, and there are limits to the tutors you can splash. Anarch is not super at getting that Morningstar out as fast as I'd like, and if I have a bunch of 3x Breakers, well, that's a lot of dead draw later. This should help.

I like how the flavor text is a wink to us to try all those crazy wombo-combo deck designs we have scratched as too slow and dust them off with discipline. Ten-pieces-rubick-cube-rig-of-doom, here I come.

Great in an origami deck

Great in an origami deck

Paige Piper puts cards in your Heap, not your Hand. Hand size isn't a factor here at all: install, then thin your deck; rinse and repeat. Paige likes recursion and multiple uniques (or cards that are effectively unique, like E3 or Corroder).

Origami isn't going to help you. Draw will help. Plenty of cheap, effectively unique Resources, Programs, and Hardware will help. Events won't; cards like Origami, which want to install in multiples and need other cards installed in multiples for support (memory) are going to work very poorly with Paige.

Unless you're going to use Deja Vu or Retrieval Run.  Paige Piper gets the extra copies of Origami into your heap, DJ/RR get them out again.  Very click/card intensive though, and not very competitive.  I might try it casually just to get some use out of Duggars though.
