It has a fantastic synergy with Mumbad Virtual Tour. Keep the runner poor and tag him in the process! Aside from that, you should have some valuable assets the runner might want to trash.
Would it be trigged because the ice trashed by Parasite?
I would say no, as the parasite lowers the ICE strenght and the corp trashes the ICE when it hits 0 strenght. So the runner never trashes the card.
But I think Spooned, Forked and Knifed would trigger, since there the runner trashes the ICE.
Where does it say that for Parasite the corp is doing the trashing? I feel like the runner would be doing it - because it's a runner card and it doesn't explicitly say that the corp is doing it (unlike, say, Noise).
I had to consult with better knowing peers about this and the verdic was, that neither trashes the ICE with parasite. It just trashes, or as they called it, "the World trashes it". So my bad at jumping to conclusion about corp trashing the ICE.
Brutally effective ID when paired with any of the political assets (the ones that only work when unprotected by ICE). Unfortunate (or fortunate from the runner's perspective!) that the 12 influence limit somewhat restricts your ability to include these assets.
As far as I understand it, Parasite does the trashing. Since Parasite is owned by the Runner, the Runner trashes it and therefore triggers the ID.
Can anyone please provide clarity on the subject?
