Better than it looks. A good alternative to Ronin, you want to get as many counters on it as possible. Mushin advance then advance three times (representing a trap) and you have 5 counters on it. Using them all at once will make Excalibur pretty deadly. It's nice that this rewards any number of advancements and that the effect is interactive and depends on ice. Plus if the runner snags it it'll just make Philotic better.
The problem with 0-pointers is that they eat deck space while not contributing to your minimum agenda points. Personally, I'd take House of Knives over this.
That said, it's potentially pretty nasty on stuff like Lockdown.
