Cards like this and strong high-influence out of faction programs make me hope that maybe the Professor will become competitive one day.

Exile might make some use out of this as well, or any Shaper doing a lot of recursion.

Otherwise, meh. Under normal circumstances you have to use the card to install three programs before it saves any $...in most decks it wont pay off.

Seems like this is just overshadowed by other available Shaper options. Sahasrara immediately comes to mind.

Though Sahasrara takes up memory which will turn into a problem if you are running alot of programs

I just don't see this card being very good. If your deck has memory problems then you probably aren't playing enough programs to make this worth it, and if you don't have memory problems then Sahasrara is way better. Even if you have memory problems Sahasrara is probably better since it pays itself off so fast and then you pawn it off when you need to. If you can make a deck with this card that wouldn't be made better by playing something else then I would be surprised...

Try and think in terms of what else this card can do that 'rara can't though. For example, you can Replicate it, or trade it in. I don't know if that's enough to make it better than 'rara in some decks, but I suspect it could be.

Oh, trust me, I am thinking of those things. They really don't make up for its shortcomings, though.
