Pairs well with NEH.

This card is worse than PAD Campaign in almost all scenarios. You'd need to average >1 new remotes per turn to make this worth it.

It might have a little synergy with Architect, but...meh. There are better ways to make a buck.

About the only advantage I see to it is the speed with which you could potentially get credits. In a very horizontal deck with the right draws you could get 5 or 6 in two turns. It also might work in Blue Sun create/take up Campaigns. Maybe.

Mirrormorph in Jinteki XD

I kid. I have seen a NEH deck which uses Turtlebacks and goes crazy-wide. The advantage of this over PAD isn't just that it can fire in the Runner's turn, it can also fire multiple times per turn. That gives it some decent utility, and click-compression like that is nice in the right deck.

True; it has a potential to be bursty instead of drippy, but a savvy runner will see that coming and trash it if they can. So, I suppose that could be turned to an advantage in a sufficiently horizontal deck to encourage a trash tax.

Actually, thinking about it, I recall that originally I played RP as a horizontal light ice deck back in the day, icing up centrals and one scoring server and leaving assets in the open, but it evolved into more of a glacier style over time thanks to Celebrity GIft and Caprice with only Sundew hangount out behind a cheap piece of throwaway ice. I suppose this card encourages a reconsideration of horizontal RP as another form of click compression (run run reasonably high trash cost). In such a deck Sundew makes Pad Campaign look like a low-priority to trash; Turtlebacks might force their hands a little more if you bust out a turn or two of installs.

In that usage it effectively becomes a $1 install discount. Add in Diversified Portfolios, and maybe there's something there. Not sure how competitive it would be.

I think this could have some legs in assett heavy IG but TBH ive not got it to fire efficiently yet (despite running 3). Ive replaced them with PAD campaigns but I still think they could work in it.
