Chaos Theory does like this.
2 copies should replace nicely the mem chip, so it would be possible to run the best breaker suite (Corroder/Garrote/Torch) without any console/mem upgrades.
Plus some datasuckers...;-)
More dangerous, but scavenging kids on stimhack don't care much anyway.
The Professor also likes this.
Garrote and Battering Ram now seem to fit in any Shaper's rig (as does Magnum and SMC on standby).
I'm using three in a Nasir deck to hang Cloaks (and a Dagger), battering ram, and an MO off of. Works really well.
I'm liking this too . . . a lot.
Anyone know of any problems hanging a Scheherazade off of this? Seems like a way to infinite memory:
Leprechaun hosts a Scheherazade and a Djinn;
Djinn does it's thing and hosts 3 MU;
Scheherazade hosts an infinite number of programs, which Leprechaun doesn't "see," since it is hosting only the Scheherazade directly.
I don't need this to work in my current Professor deck, but as an experiment, that could really open up the MU possibilities while generating a nice discount on those program installs. Yes, it is vulnerable to program trashing, but that's an interesting trade-off for the Scheherazade wormhole.
Alternately, do those programs on Scheherazade still count against MU, in an odd roundabout way even while hosted on Leprechaun, since the Leprechaun doesn't "see" them? (Hosting 3 Leprechauns off a Djinn is much more clearly OK).
As I understand it, the hosting relationship doesn't iterate to descendants, so only the MU of cards hosted directly on Leprechaun don't count.
"The memory costs of hosted programs do not count against your memory limit."
"“Hosted†is always self-referential and refers to cards and tokens hosted on that card, unless otherwise noted. Cards are always hosted faceup, unless otherwise noted."
Thanks, guys!
