I like it! the number of times that I the corp just spends 3 clicks for three creds, this card would make a fortune. its paying you for something your enemy is probably going to do, and whats more its going to make him think twice about doing what they need to do.
So this works on personal workshop right?

It works on personal workshop like any other program or hardware:
You can host it on PS but it´s ability will not be active untill it is actually installed

If this is the only virus you run, the Corp will have to seriously consider purging every time they spend a turn clicking for credits or drawing. Even if you only get four or five credits out of it, it's worth the investment and the way it messes with what the Corp's normal game flow is just incredible.
A friend pointed out that this card is a shout-out to, of all things, Superman III. Gus Gorman (Richard Pryor) starts out in the movie with a penny-shaving hack.

Some prefer to believe that Superman 3 was never made. Let's go with Office Space instead.

Just curious.. do they stack? If you have 3 of these do they all get a counter on it when the corp clicks for cred/card? Im assuming yes like how data sucker does.

Man am I late on this but how are we not going to go with the amazing Hackers? Especially when we're talking about netrunner.
Didn't give this much consideration at first, but with a Noise trash and archive running deck, I can see this as a serious economy card. Install with a starting credit from grimoire, trash a card and build up some credits. It will be hard to decide when to trash it, but even if all it does is cause the corp to spend an entire three clicks removing those credits, it is worth its install. But I would probably pop it somewhere around 6-7 credits. Depending on the situation of course.

One influence to splash in as well, nice.
Simply an amazing card. Money out of nowhere for my poor-ol' Noise and cheap virus on top of that.

Synergizes with hivemind like a beast, too.  The prevalence of JH in current (and probably a long time into the future) meta mitigates the effectiveness somewhat on its own, but it could potentially be a big credit swing for 2 clicks if the corp leaves hivemind alone too long.

Then again, a corp that lets hivemind sit at 5+ counters for any amount of time is just asking for serious trouble.
