The influence cost on this is low. Makes it easier to experiment with.

Not sure if Anarch likes this, since it trashes a lot of the ice that you'd use to route through. On the other hand this card rewards digging, and Nerve Agent and Medium can do that. If you get locked out after building up a bunch of counters, this could be your ticket back in.

Shaper likes this card, as they may need a ticket into R&D and this card plays nice with Maker's Eye. Escher seems like it should work well with this card also.

Playing nice with run events helps Criminal too. I can see this getting critical Account Siphons to hit in the late gate, followed up by Emergency Shutdown. Crim is probably going to see more rezzed ICE than the other factions too, which will help.
It only plays nice with Maker's and Siphon if there's 2 of the same rezzed ICE above RnD and HQ, respectively (hello Escher).

You can't Maker's Eye a remote...
I'm Thinking about the Pop-Up Window, Tollbooth, Pop-Up Window type ICE structure I've been seeing frequently on centrals in my meta right now. Or, more generally, the "Cheap early ICE, Fortify the server with big ICE, toss a late draw cheap ICE out in front to help deal with Kit/Inside Job/Just cost the Runner more"

That pattern of ICE Deployment.
Played around with this card last night and it works out nicely if you have a few expose cards and Forged Activation Orders.
You guys are right, Escher is perfect for this. Shapers like to use one-shot programs anyway, so this is actually a pretty nice combo card.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Just to clarify how to use this.
If I'm running RND and I approached a sentry ice and break through. Can I trash copy cat to exit a rezzed ice sentry server protecting HQ? Or does it have to be the matching copy of the ice?

Thanks

It has to be the exact copy of ice not just the same type
