Edit - I just noticed the hosted programs still count towards the memory limit. Eh, I suppose it's alright if you're installing a few Djinn's, Test Run stuff, or programs that aren't going to stay on it for long, but I'm not seeing much use for this.
€: I love the art though.
My own reading of the card is that Caissa and Scheherazade interact without any problems, but that's only my own reading.
As written, the only Caissa that can move off of Scheherazde is Pawn. The others may or may not be errata'd or faq'd to say that they can. As written, it's a no-go.
Rook, on the other hand, is totally screwed unless we get an errata.
However I also think that Rook works with this card, the way I read the text; "Click]: Host Rook on a piece of ice not hosting a Caïssa. If already hosted, Rook can be hosted only on ice protecting this server or on ice in the same position (counting from the innermost spot) protecting another server."
So you install on Scheherazade with a click like any other program. Rooks click ability then says to host rook on a piece of ice not hosting caissa (no problems yet). Then is says if already hosted, rook can be hosted only on ice protecting this server... (because Scheherazade is not a server, it is a program, this text means nothing and you revert back to the previous sentence which says host rook on a piece of ice.)
Nope, Rook will definitely not work with Scheherazade. "If hosted" is the key word here. Rook is definitely being hosted on Schegerazade therefore there is no way to move rook to satisfy its "if hosted" condition. So Rook is stuck if it's hosted on anything other then ice on a server.
People are rating this and bishop down because they are not very good. Some people are capable of making accurate card judgements. Nobody is going to stop you from making your crappy Cassia deck, though. It might get better when Deep Red comes out....maybe.
BTW, I just realized that Anarch's two main themes (viruses and Caissa) each get their own Daemon program. That's pretty cool.
It says 'if hosted' so it's hosted,
but then it say "can only be hosted on an ice protecting a central server IF bishop is on...a remote server" and vice versa.
Does the "only...if" mean that can't host it on a central server unless it's current host is a remote (meaning it can't move off the daemon) or does it mean that it's only resticted in where it can move if already on a server and therefore can more from the daemon to any ice.
I do agree with LeoLancer that the pure Caissa deck will depend on King and Queen. just by the names those should be the 'big' programs.
As for Sheharazade itself, I wonder if it might be good with the cheap trashable programs like Cresentus.
You can't host Parasite on Scheherezade, it can ONLY be installed on rezzed ICE. Other temporary programs like Imp and Gorman Drip are fine though. Also consider Crescentus, False Echo and Deus Ex.
Ok, it's even more vulnerabe than my Djin. But i prefer already a 'Djin-Ception' anyway...
Correct. Mainly because Sahasrara can't host Djinn (or any cards
However, it ALSO won't work if your Djinn is on Scheherezade, as you install to one or the other. So you have to choose between making a credit or saving the MU.
The only way to dodge that is to havec SMC or Pawn ready to trash, and an unused SMC ties up 2 MU, which is really to much.
