It was stated that "After drawing 30 or 40 sample hands through marshalling <setup> and round1" and that the results are leaning toward 'bad'. Clearly, by jumping 25% bigger in decksize, you are going to have worse setup hands. But the benefit is based on multiple turns and always having 50% more cards drawn turn after turn. You are effectively drawing a single card if you're going through only one turn, how can you base your theory on that?
The earlier comments by Josh, that "60 good cards or 85 good cards are still just a deck of good cards" is pretty much the way you have to think about this card. And the best decks I've seen are making room for more draw/tutors to offset the size by increasing the overall hand advantage. I'm surprised, even with the lobotomized Martell house the way it is, hasn't benefited more from TLV.
