Is there any direct download link? When I click on the download, it starts to stream the podcast. I normally download the episodes and listen to them at a later time.
I appreciate the melee stuff you are pointing out, could be useful i think and it would constitute a game changer; that being said, frankly its been three shows about the subject already and it comes down to a point i don't even care anymore
Sorry to hear you feel that way. While Greg and I do discuss the matter at length in episodes 94 & 96, I think you'll likely enjoy episode 95 then, where I answer Darryl briefly on the matter and then we move on to a deckbuilding episode for probably 90% of the show.

well ive enjoyed it
Whoops, also, Meeks, I'll mention that to DB about the download link.
With seemingly so little focus on melee I like it too, makes a nice changeup.

There was one win condition I was unsure about - when you said "win 3 challenges against an opponent with 3 more power than you" I don't think a timeframe was given. Is it just in 1 round like the other ones or is it over the course of the game? The latter could cause more bookkeeping issues.

Barristan - Support another player's challenge and win
Rhaegar - Win a challenge against every player in a single turn
Theon - Lose a challenge against every player in a single turn
Oberyn - Win 3 challenges against opponents with more power than you (is this in the same turn?)
Aemon - Lower an opponent's power total through card effects during a challenge that you are not participating in.
Varys - Add or remove a keyword or icon during a challenge that you are not participating in.

Participants could put those letters on a coin the players could add to their housecard upon completion.

If this allowed the 2nd place player to get more tourney points than the winner, I'm ok with that. Why? Because completing these objectives makes the game more fun for everyone, not just the person who completes them.

Yes, the three challenges against people with more power than you is in the same round.

I might be missing something, but how are you stopping collusion happening anyway? I could see the first turn becoming a 4-way (or 3-way) "let's check off as many things onthe list as possible" exercise, and then the entire thing is pointless and annoying. All you're then really doing is stopping rush decks from being as effective, and isn't that unfair given Melee is the one part of the game where they're winning with a reasonable consistency?
Sure, an entire table of players could get together and fake the results, but the bar to entry there is pretty high. Getting everyone at the table to agree to that would be pretty hard, I think.
