This card is so amazingly useful. I love it with Battlefield Engineers too :)
This card is equally nasty for a DS player, haha ;) Especially when you attack with a single interrogation droid and the LS player decides to give my own tactical combat icon to a droid who is not attacking at that time (effectively leaving the droid with no combat icons....).
Yeah, or they just give it to C-3PO and start locking down your board with that guy.
It is definitely very versatile. I find at this point in the meta that the only units that are difficult to use with this card tend to be Spys and Droids, since there aren't really enough of those types to match up their traits with another one. But that will likely be changing soon. We just got several of them in the newest Force Pack.

What if the targeted unit that had lost its icon leaves play? Does the second target still get to keep the icon until the end of the phase, or does it lose the icon (because the icon referred to by 'that icon' is no longer there)?

Yes, its stolen till the end of the phase regardless if the unit leaves play or not.

Can I strike with a unit, then target it with this to give its icon to another unit, then strike with that unit? Effectively getting two uses out of one icon?
