Does this mean that if I attack with one and loose the edge, that the other ones that are ready but didn't engage will also be put back into my hand?
thats exactly what the card says, its very straight forward. No where in the units ability does it specify units in the engagement or ready units or any other stipulation.
Forced Reaction: after you lose an edge battle, return this unit from play to your hand. So ANY edge battle you lose, EVERY jawa on your board with this ability returns to your hand. this is why sometimes these guys can be a double edged sword as they can clog your hand if you have 3-4 of them out and they keep getting bounced.
