The exact deck I built with one exception. I don't have imperial blockade. Instead, I run 2 imperial command. No captain needa is offset buy having motti and a second copy of the resource chud in his pod. The biggest reason is the lack of elite on piete and making sure that they cant keep thrawn focused because of motti. Despite being elite, I've had games where he gets 3 focus tokens a turn placed on him because of how dangerous he is. I like the ability of blockade but I think I'll take the resources from mottis location in a deck with this many high cost units.
Personally, I just don't like Admiral Piett because of his high cost of 5 resources. I think it's more reasonable to have him at 3, since he needs to accumulate Fate cards on him before he becomes useful, unlike Thrawn who can offer immediate assistance to your deck. He also has awful combat icons and pitiful Force pips. I hope the Endor cycle will give us another Piett that is more reasonable priced for his ability.
The one good thing about piett's pod is there are a lot of force pips between the 5 cards
Yeah, I feel the same way. However, I really want to try his fate accumulation out in a game (haven't had the chance yet) before rendering my judgement. But even if he turns out to be worthless, his set does have 10 icons across all cards, which is really rare for Navy, and one of his cards is seeds.
