The Immortals

I think I'd drop Kyle for Yoda (Echoes Cycle version of course).  Granted it gets a little boring seeing him in every damn Jedi light side deck, but it's not like it's happening for no reason.  Meanwhile Kyle cycling shenanigans are fun of course, but this deck is already built around needing one specific objective out to really work, so putting in a unit that needs a different specific objective out to shine seems like pushing it.  Of course it also adds another way to keep Chewbacca alive, but I think between Heart and Spirit you've already got that well-enough covered; you're gonna be drowning in those cards way more often than you have Chewie and H&L out and another Chewie in hand.

Could you elaborate on this point a bit?

It seems to me that Wookiee Life Debt is the main objective you want out. But I don't think you really need Heroes and Legends out. You'll almost definitely get one Kyle on the table, but after that, you're just using the rest for edge battles, so it's not imperative that you cycle him with Heroes and Legends.

I found that to be the case most of the time. (I just wanted to see if others had noticed something I had missed). The deck does work well without WLD in play though. I played 3 rounds with this deck and only used the ability of HaL once. A Message from Beyond seemed like the biggest annoyance to the DS player.

I'm leery on swapping Kyle for new Yoda, partly because I don't think the deck needs any more character damage icons, and because I find that you don't want to commit anything to The Force with this deck (as the only elite unit is Lowhhrick). So the Pod itself doesn't really help.

I personally would drop down to one set of Heroes and Legends and one set of Message from Beyond and then add two Yodas... A message from beyond is good but it makes your deck a little light on units to put it on, especially while running 4 kyles. Yoda would give you another great main and then you could lock up the force, plus the nudj!

I designed this deck to have as many Old Ben's Spirit as possible in play (hence to title: "The Immortals"), so I'd like to keep both in play. But I see know what you mean about being light on units. I didn't have any units for the first 2 turns in a game against a Sith deck. I lost, but it was a do or die moment for both of us (so the deck does can recover well)

I listened and swapped Kyle for Yoda, and oh man, this deck works a lot better now.

Decided to see about updating this favorite of mine. Swapped Yoda for Rahn. Not sure how it'll work out, I really just wanted to see Old Ben's Spirit on Rahn to see how much indirect pod damage I can do.

I would question whether or not you would want to Swap Hero's Journey for Heroes trial? Maybe...

Here is my issues with the deck. I think you have a bit too many bad draws in the deck. The deck really hinges on wookie life debt being out. Your edge count is fairly low with no twists. Even with mostly Jedi, I don't believe this deck will be very good at holding the force. Your very susceptible to snoova (not that big a deal).

I would really like to see 2x MTFBWY in this deck. I think I would drop 1x wookies journey and 1x message from beyond. That would go a very long way to shoring up a few weaknesses. This would push your edge count to the low 80's, help immensely with holding the force, and reduce the amount of bad draws in the deck. This also ensures you can never be resource locked as well.
