This is the exact deck I ran at my regionals, and it did great for me (went 4-0 in swiss). It's really solid and fun to play. I agree though giving up counterstroke sucks, having that cheap event cancel is so nice.

Do you think it's worth taking out Heroes and Legends for either an old Yoda (Counterstroke and cheaper enhancements) or Ferrus Olin (play with shields from Guardians and others)? I picked Kyle's set for my other one-of because I think it's just solid all-around and helps the other unique units in the deck, plus edge icons and tutoring.
Also, I love Self-Preservation. It's great for force-holding and can get some extra damage in every once in a while with the Gotals. Meanwhile, Soresu is a fantastic attachment.
