Okey, So first thing you need to do (after choosing objectives and drawing first hand) is this: - Decide if you are better to go turbo aggresive or to build tempo during game. ( I ll explain it)
Idea when I was creating this deck was to make deck that snowballs better than your opponent, and this one certainly does it(most of time). Good draw potential, resources and counter-dudes usually let you to build the board that you need. Sometimes your opponent will be able to build better board than your(or at least it will seem so) but if that somehow happened -this is when our tricks come to play. Options to outplay him with Kyles, unfinished business or just defending when waiting for huge top-deck board clear - all of them are here.
Our tricks also allow us sometimes to make really monster first/second turn, destroying one or two objectives or just very well securing table. [note: This is why at beginning you decide what your gameplan is. If it is really worth discarding that moldy and summoning it. Or maybe doing some otjer tricks, y-wing there to get easy unoppoused? Or just going to build board, these colonists can be very useful later.]
So, biggest trick in this deck is for me resource management. Srsly. I ll give you some tips about it: - When you have Cassian Objective there, remember that you get ANY (non-r) card discount. It can be hidden outpost that comes for free and leaves you with one resource open(for example for counter-dude). - Don't forget about Dodonna reaction! THis draw is huuuge! Especially after Rahn guidance. - Don't forget that Owen shuffles your deck (again talking about Rahn guidance here). - Be patient, there is always way out of bad board state. Just know your deck and wait out some surprise that will win game for you. Remember that your enemy doesn't know what cards you can have on hand, play around it. - Usually you will scale better into late game than your enemy, especially if you can secure some better draw(this is why we play 7 reserve but use vaporators in the way they help you, but not your enemy). -There are not many edge cards there, but when properly used, they will win games almost as often as unfinished business.
In fact, I couldn't find alternative for Home one and core Luke as I wanted these resources there. (and needed blast)
Home one goes brutal with shielding(all black icons, ouch), y-wings can be really brutal as well.
But I am not big fan of Luke here, dunno why. Needed money and needed some main, that won't repeat name with moldy. :/
Luke is just ok, but I wan't more than "just ok". Really, even Home one and Kyles (whole pods, not single cards) are here big surprise and way better than "just ok".

Home one goes brutal with shielding(all black icons, ouch), y-wings can be really brutal as well.
But I am not big fan of Luke here, dunno why. Needed money and needed some main, that won't repeat name with moldy. :/
